The Animated Storybook is a project conceived for the course CS247: Human Computer Interaction Design Studio, offered at Stanford University in Winter 2009.

By combining a traditional storybook with a computer terminal that allows the user to draw and animate scenes for the stories they write, our goal is to both encourage storytelling as a fun activity and to expand the possibilities for multimedia story creation.

Our target age group was children between the ages of 7 and 10, and we would like to thank the Nueva School and the students there for their kind cooperation in allowing us to try out our product with them.
